We have seen this light on several occasions in July and Aug of 2011. The light seems to be blinking white, red, green, but does not look like the navigation lights on an airplane. The light is some distance from our location in Hamilton facing West from our location. On One occasion the light was moving from out of the West to South. On two different nights (around Midnight) is seems to be moving from the South to North very slowly. In the video capture, i used daytime setting, and super nightvision mode on my video camera. Under Super nightvision mode it appears as though there is some structure under the light.. The quick motion of the object is caused by me trying to focus in on tripod, the light had no rapid movement. There was a report of a video on youtube previously being Chinese lanterns. I do not believe this light to be a Chinese lantern.
